The winning entries for the 2026/2027 edition of the Delaware State Waterfowl Stamp Contest were chosen by a panel of five judges who separately evaluated and scored the contest entries in person.
A painting of painting of a Northern Shoveler in a marshland habitat, by Gerald Putt of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, will grace the 2026/2027 Delaware Waterfowl Stamp. Mr. Putt receives a $2,500 cash prize and 150 artist’s proofs of the limited edition print series of his first-place entry.

Second place went to Ryan Rickaby of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Third place went to Mark Anderson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.


Honorable mentions went to Matt Doyle of Everett, Pennsylvania, Scott Calpino of Bernville, Pennsylvania and Caleb Metrich of Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
