Winning Waterfowl Stamp Contest Entries



The winning entries for the 2027/2028 edition of the Delaware State Waterfowl Stamp Contest were chosen by a panel of five judges who separately evaluated and scored the contest entries in person. 

A painting of a pair of goldeneye ducks flying past a Delaware lighthouse, by Jonathan Milo of Monroe, Connecticut, will grace the 2027/2028 Delaware Waterfowl Stamp. Mr. Milo receives a $2,500 cash prize and 150 artist’s proofs of the limited edition print series of his first-place entry.

Best in Show

Second place went to Ryan Kniss, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Third place went to Caleb Metrich, of Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin.

Honorable mentions went to Richard Clifton, of Milford, Delaware, Jeffrey Klinefelter, of Etna Green, Indiana, and Matthew Higgins, of Kersey, Pennsylvania.
