The winning entries for the 2026 edition of the Delaware Trout Stamp Contest were chosen by a panel of five judges who separately evaluated and scored the contest entries in person.
The 2026 Delaware Trout Stamp will feature a painting of a brown trout by Charles Wurst of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Wurst received $250 for Best in Show and retains artist’s rights for reproduction and sales of prints of the stamp.

Second place went to George Bradford of Georgetown, Delaware, who painted a rainbow trout. Third place was Charles Wurst of Fort Wayne, Indiana, for his painting of a rainbow trout painting.


Honorable mentions went to Matt Doyle of Everett, Pennsylvania, for a brown trout and George Bradford of Georgetown, Delaware, for a brook trout.
