The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of John’s Body Shop located in Wilmington. The Site, once used as an automobile repair and paint shop, required lead and asbestos abatement, removal of impacted sediment from onsite catch basins, and recording an Environmental Covenant.

Motiva Enterprises, LLC has completed closure activities for the Industrial Waste Landfill and the Fly Ash Settling Ponds located on the grounds of the Delaware City Refinery in Delaware City at 4550 Wrangle Hill Road, in accordance with Delaware’s Regulations Governing Solid Waste.
