The Hazardous Substance Cleanup Act (HSCA), 7 Del. C. § 9107 (a)(1), requires the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to provide “public notification within 20 days after entering into negotiations for a voluntary cleanup settlement agreement with any person that agrees to perform a remedy.”
As required by § 9107 (a)(1), DNREC advises that it is negotiating a Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) Agreement with Foundry at Riverview, LLC regarding the Foundry at Riverview Site (DE-1737) located at 0 West 7th Street, New Castle, DE. The Site is identified as New Castle County tax parcel number 21-017.00-126. The Site requires remedial action due to historic activities on site.
