The Sediment and Stormwater Program’s Certified Construction Reviewer (CCR) course is an online class with an in-person field trip component. The course is available on the Delaware Learning Center as a self-paced, 12-hour class and final exam. After successful completion of the online portion, participants must complete an in-person field trip and submit a corresponding CCR field trip report.
Class size and participants per company are limited. Pre-registration is approved on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible applicants. When limits are reached, names will be added to a waitlist.
If an individual does not schedule a field trip within 90 days of successfully completing the online CCR Course, they will no longer be eligible to complete certification.
To be eligible to attend a CCR field trip, you must:
Have valid Contractor Training Program certification, informally referred to as Blue Card Course. If you received your Contractor Training Program certification prior to 2020, your certification is no longer valid. The Contractor Training Program is available online and certification obtained prior to pre-registering for the CCR course.
Complete the online Certified Construction Reviewer (CCR) Course with a minimum exam score of 80%.
Once received, submission forms are reviewed to confirm eligibility and email notifications will be sent indicating one of the following:
Registered. Participant determined to be eligible and is seating available. Additional information will be provided on specific location and required items.
Waitlisted. Participant determined to be eligible, but the total class limit has been reached (25). Additional information will be provided in the appropriate time if space is available.
Not Registered. Participant determined to be ineligible. Additional information will be provided on meeting eligibility requirements.
Field trip locations will rotate among the three counties — New Castle, Kent and Sussex – each month. The field trip will be offered at 9 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month. If the field trip is canceled for any reason, it will be made up on the following Tuesday.
Field trip sizes will be limited to 25 participants per trip. The roster will remain open until full or 3 p.m. the day before the scheduled event. If the field trip is full, participants will be able to sign up for a different month and/or ask to be put on a waiting list. Participants will receive a confirmation email.
If an attendee doesn’t show up for their scheduled field trip, they can register to attend the next month’s field trip, if space is available.
Two no-shows will result in the participant having to retake the CCR course.
