Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters



The DNREC Division of Water issues permits to Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters under the Delaware Regulations Governing the Design, Installation and Operation of On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Systems (7 DE Admin. Code 7101).

Required Documents

Applicants must have the following documents available to upload to complete their application.

  • Vehicle information (vehicle type; make and model; vehicle year; permit tag number and state of registration; capacity [gal]).
  • Certificate of liability insurance for all vehicles, designating the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control as the certificate holder.
  • Approval letters, discharge permits and/or documents from each disposal facility.
  • Copy of license cards/certificates for all Class F licensed waste haulers.
  • Operation Plan detailing a spill reporting and clean-up plan; plans for cleaning vehicles; record keeping procedures; and days and hours of operation.
  • Copy of bond

These documents are required for all applications (including new, renewal and amendment applications). Applications deemed incomplete will not be processed. It is recommended that permit renewal applications be submitted 60 days prior to the expiration date.

All applications are required to be public noticed for a period of 15 days.
