Project Description: Clean Delaware, LLC has applied to the Commercial and Government Services Section for a Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit, which allows for the transport of septage, holding tank waste, grease trap/cooking oil waste, portable toilet waste, municipal/industrial biosolids, brewery waste, water treatment plant sludge, poultry wastewater, leachate, and iron sludge removed from drinking water plants, to be disposed of at Clean Delaware Farm Land Application (Permit AGU-220X-03), Clean Delaware, LLC, New Castle County, Kent County, Sussex County, and out of state wastewater treatment facilities. The permit is designed to ensure the vehicle/container transporting non-hazardous liquid waste is operated and maintained in compliance with all state and federal regulations in a manner that is protective of public health and the environment. The permittee is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all vehicles operated under the permit.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on October 29, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
