In accordance with 29 Delaware Code, Section 10407, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) will be conducting a review of the agency’s regulations that have not been amended in the last four years. DNREC is seeking public comment as to whether or not the regulations subject to this review should be amended or possibly eliminated.

Three in-person public hearings (each lasting at least half an hour) will be held to receive verbal comments from the public: 

• Tuesday, June 24, 2025, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room at the DNREC Lewes Field Office, 901 Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE 19958
• Wednesday, June 25, 2025, beginning at 10 a.m. in Conference Room B at the DNREC Lukens Drive Field Office, 391 Lukens Drive, New Castle, DE 19720
• Thursday, June 26, 2025, beginning at 2 p.m. in the DNREC Auditorium, 89 Kings Highway SW, Dover, DE 19901

DNREC will accept public comment through July 11, 2025. Written comments should be as specific as possible, including a reference to the relevant regulation, and may be submitted in any of three ways:
