Application

A water allocation permit is required for all major water withdrawals under the Regulations Governing the Allocation of Water.

This office has under consideration the application of:

Location: Near the intersection of Draper Avenue and Topaz Street, Milton, DE 19968
Parcel(s): 2-35-20.00-0019.00

Project Description: The applicant has requested a New permit to allocate: .62 Million Gallons/Day, 18.6 Million Gallons /Month, 74.4 Million Gallons /Year or Season.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on January 8, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
