On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Project Description: Why Knot, LLC has submitted an application for a Construction Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System. The system has been designed to accommodate 1,200 gallons per day of wastewater from a 10 bedroom dwelling. The system consist of 1 septic tank, 1 lift station and 1 full depth gravity trench for disposal.

Temporary Holding Tank System

Project Description: Ingram Village Development, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank System for the Ingram Village proposed residential subdivision. The system has been designed to accommodate 8,400 gallons per day of wastewater generated by 28 dwellings. The system consist of approximately 8,382 linear feet of 8” diameter gravity pipe, 33 manholes and appurtenances.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on December 18th, 2025. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
