Project Description: Campground Holdings, LLC has submitted a renewal application for an Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Deep Branch Family Campground. The system has been designed to accommodate 5,360 gallons per day of wastewater from a bathhouse, banquet hall and a dumping station. The system consists of 3 septic tanks, 3 dosing tanks and 3 pressure dose beds for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on December 11th, 2025. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
