Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit Renewal: Denali Water Solutions

Denali Water Solutions has applied to the Commercial and Government Services Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-601 which authorizes the transportation and disposal of wastes as outlined below.

  1. Ocean City Class A biosolids to farms and site locations within Delaware and Maryland according to the approved distribution label.
  2. Wilmington Class A biosolids to locations within Delaware and Pennsylvania according to DE permit DM 2006-S-03 and Pennsylvania permit PAG-07-9611. Wilmington Class B is approved for land application in Pennsylvania under PAG-08-9681.
  3. A&M Composting will accept biosolids from Mountaire Farms Millsboro and Kent County Wastewater.
  4. Pioneer Crossing Landfill will accept biosolids from Mountaire Farms Millsboro and Kent County Wastewater.
  5. Stanley Collier Farm, Harrington DE will accept Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) solids in accordance with Agricultural Utilization of Waste Permit No. AGU 1602-K-05 (and subsequent amendments).
  6. Schiff Farm Operation, Harrington DE will accept Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) solids in accordance with Agricultural Utilization of Waste Permit No. AGU 1703-K-05 (and subsequent amendments).
  7. Allen Harim Harbeson Processing Plant will accept the following wastes:
    • Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) from:
      • Valley Proteins Linkwood MD
      • Perdue Georgetown DE
    • Wastewater from:
      • Allen Hatchery Dagsboro DE
      • Allen Harim Pinnacle Processing Plant (aka Allen Harim Millsboro DE)
  8. Mountaire Farms Millsboro Processing Plant will accept the following wastes:
    • Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) from:
      • Tyson Temperanceville VA
      • Valley Proteins Linkwood MD
    • Perdue Georgetown DE
      • Allen Harim Harbeson DE, and Millsboro DE
  9. Perdue Farms Georgetown Processing Plant will accept the following wastes:
    • Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) from:
      • Valley Proteins Linkwood MD
      • Allen Harim Harbeson DE, and Millsboro DE
  10. Delaware Solid Waste Authority will accept the following wastes:
    • Food Processing Residuals from:
      • Sea Watch International Milford DE
  11. DELCORA will accept the following wastes:
    • Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) from:
      • Mountaire Farms Selbyville DE
      • Allen Harim Harbeson DE
  12. The following wastes are approved for disposal as registered soil conditioners in Maryland:
    • Waste activated sludge
    • Water treatment residuals
  13. Food processing residuals
  14. Dissolved air flotation solids
  15. Wastewater residuals
  16. Food processing residuals are land applied in Pennsylvania under the PADEP FPR manual, no permitting or approval is required through this program.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
