The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 31, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. to consider comments from the public on the annual Weatherization Assistance Program federal funding application (Docket #2026-CCE-0005).

The purpose of the annual federal funding application is to invest federal funds towards weatherizing the homes of income-eligible households in Delaware. Funded services will include air sealing, insulation, ventilation repairs, and health and safety measures such as air quality and moisture control.
