The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy will conduct a public hearing on Monday, December 9, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. to consider comments from the public on the Weatherization Assistance Program Sustainable Energy Resources for Consumers (SERC) grant application (Docket #2024-WAP-CCE-0019).

The purpose of the SERC grant for the Weatherization Assistance Program is to provide additional energy technologies for low-income households receiving program services in Delaware. This grant will be utilized to install heat pump systems in eligible households. Revisions to this application, requested by the DOE, will certify the WAP subgrantee as the SERC project subgrantee.
