The purpose of the SERC grant for the Weatherization Assistance Program is to provide additional energy technologies for low-income households receiving program services in Delaware.

This grant will be used to install heat pump systems in eligible households. Revisions to this application, requested by the U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE), will certify the WAP subgrantee as the SERC project subgrantee.

For additional information on the above matter and to review the proposed application, contact Matthew Henderson, Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy, Energy Section, 100 W. Water St., Dover, DE 19904, by phone at (302) 735-3354, or by email at MatthewB.Henderson@delaware.gov.

The Department will accept public comment through the close of business on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Comments will be accepted in written form via email to DNRECHearingComments@delaware.gov, using the online form at de.gov/dnreccomments, or by U.S. mail to the address on this page.
