Notice has been given that:
Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company requests permission for the construction and operation of two (2) emergency generators, each rated 1350 kW (1945 HP) at 2051 Old Coochs Bridge Rd, Suite 200, Newark, New Castle County, Delaware. The engines used in these identical generator sets comply with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 89, Non-Road Tier II emissions limits. Permit: APC-2025/0066-Construction & Permit: APC-2025/0067-Construction.
The applications for these permits may be reviewed upon request. The applications are posted at: de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information, or for information regarding how you can inspect the applications, please contact Jennifer Childears at (302) 739 9402 or jennifer.childears@delaware.gov.
A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending May 19, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
