Notice has been given that:
Air Liquide Advanced Separations requests a permit to construct a post-treatment vessel at their 305 Water Street, Newport, Delaware, New Castle County facility. The construction permit was requested for the installation of a new post-treatment tank, designated TK-U. The post-treatment vessel will be permitted to emit 0.0027 pounds per hour and 0.012 tons per twelve (12) month rolling period of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) by Permit: APC-2023/0048-CONSTRUCTION (MNSR). Emissions from this unit will be covered under synthetic minor Permit: APC-96/0911-OPERATION (AMENDMENT 13)(VOC RACT)(SM) which includes a VOC emission limit of 39.41 pounds per day and 7.19 tons per year per. The post-treatment vessel will not result in an increase in facility wide emissions.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending Monday, February 27, 2023. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
