Application

Notice has been given that:

GeoTech, LLC, requests a construction and operation permit to operate one (1) Finlay Impact Crusher with a Scania 9.3 Tier 4 350 hp diesel engine and one (1) Sandvik Impactor with Catepillar 9.3 Tier 4 350 hp diesel engine and one (1) Prosizer Crushing and Screening Plant with a Cummins QSL 8.9 Tier 4 380 hp diesel engine and one (1) Edge TS80 Stacking Conveyor with a FPT Industrial 3.4 Tier 4 74 hp diesel engine at their new locations at 376 Holly Oak Lane, Cheswold, DE, 19936 and 1262 Horsepond Rd, Dover, DE 19901 Kent County facilities. The crushing equipment is permitted to emit a total of 1.096 TPY of NOx, 0.367 TPY of CO, 0.130 TPY of THC, 0.223 TPY of PM2.5, 1.058 TPY of PM10, 2.7 TPY of PMtotal, and 0.018 TPY of SO2 by Permit: APC-2023/0013-CONSTRUCTION and OPERATION (Amendment 3).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending November 4, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
