Notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control that Daneliz Shredding, LLC d/b/a ProShred Southern New Jersey (ProShred) has applied for a renewal of recycling permit #SW-19/04 to provide mobile secure hard drive and media tape destruction services at client locations throughout Delaware from its fleet of vehicles equipped with appropriate shredding equipment. ProShred proposes to process a maximum of 1,500 pounds of hard drives and media tapes per day, and will be permitted to accept these materials in any quantity that doesn’t contribute to an exceedance of the Proshred vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR).

The application is available online at dnrec.delaware.gov/dnrec-public-notices/.

A public hearing on the above permit renewal will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a meritorious request for such a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, ending March 29^th, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the activity’s probable impact.
