DNREC Regulatory Review



In accordance with 29 Delaware Code, Section 10407, the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) will conduct a review of the agency’s regulations that have not been amended in the last four years.

DNREC is seeking public comment as to whether or not the regulations subject to this review should be amended or possibly eliminated.

Comments may be submitted in writing or in person at one of three public hearings; one in each county during June.

DNREC will accept public comment through July 11, 2025.

Comments should be as specific as possible and include a reference to the regulation being commented on and the docket number for this review (Docket #2025-R-OTS-0010).

Public Hearings

In addition to accepting written comment, DNREC will hold three in-person public hearings (each lasting at least half an hour) to receive verbal comments from the public.
