Project Description: Eagles Nest Fellowship Church has submitted a renewal application for an Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Eagles Nest Fellowship Church. The system has been designed to accommodate 4,200 gallons per day of wastewater generated by a church and school and consists of five septic tanks with two dosing tanks and four pressure dosed beds for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on August 20, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
