Project Description: City of Wilmington Department of Public Works proposes to install approximately two hundred and fifty-nine linear feet (259 LF) of seventy-two-inch (72”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, forty-five linear feet (45 LF) of twenty-four-inch (24”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, four (4) pumps and related appurtenances to serve a pump station expansion located at 900 East 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19802. The proposed force main will connect to Wilmington Wastewater Treatment Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on August 20, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
