Project Description: New Castle County Department of Public Works proposes to install approximately four hundred and forty-two linear feet (442 LF) of thirty inch (30”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, forty-four linear feet (44 LF) of twenty-four inch (24”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, three (3) pump stations, and related appurtenances to serve a pumpstation upgrade project located at 100 Brookside Drive, Wilmington, DE, 19804. The proposed force main will connect to City of Wilmington Wastewater Treatment Plant.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on July 9, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
