Project Description: Country Rest Home, Inc. has submitted an application for an Operating Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Country Life Community development. The system has been designed to accommodate 13,500 gallons per day of wastewater. The system consist of one Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor and micro-irrigation drip dispersal for disposal.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on February 26, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
