Project Description: Southwood Acres, LLC proposes to install approximately four thousand six hundred and forty-eight linear feet (4,648 LF) of four-inch (4”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, and two (2) submersible pump stations to serve as an upgrade for an existing sewer pipe located at Lexington Mill Road, Magnolia, DE 19962. The proposed force main will connect to Kent Regional Resource Recovery Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on January 15, 2026. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
