Project Description: City of Milford and Kent County Levy Court proposes to install approximately forty-eight linear feet (48 LF) of four inch (4”) diameter sanitary sewer force main, and one hundred and seven linear feet (107 LF) of eighteen inch (18”) diameter sanitary sewer force main to serve a relocation of both City of Milford’s 4-inch force main and Kent County’s 18-inch force main at NE Front Street, Rehoboth BLVD to SR1, Milford, DE 19963. The proposed force main will connect to the Kent Regional Resource Recovery Facility.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice, ending at 4:30 p.m. on December 18th, 2025. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
