The Department has adopted a plan regarding the clean-up of the 3905 North Market Street Site located in Wilmington. Historically, the Site was used as a car dealership and auto repair facility starting in 1951. The Site will be subject to the following key remedial actions: compliance with the Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP); recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting the Site use to non-residential uses and restricting groundwater withdrawal; compliance with the Long-Term Stewardship Plan to monitor groundwater contaminants; and submittal of a Remedial Action Completion Report.

DNREC issued a public notice of the Proposed Plan for the 3905 North Market Street Site on March 20, 2024. There were no comments or questions from the public regarding the Proposed Plan.
