The Department invites public comment on a proposal to clean-up the 3905 North Market Street Site that is located at 3905 North Market Street in Wilmington. The Site consists of one New Castle County Tax Parcel 26-016.20-093, which is approximately 1.34 acres in size. Historically, the Site was used as a car dealership and auto repair facility starting in 1951.
The Site will be subject to the following key remedial actions: compliance with the Contaminated Materials Management Plan (CMMP); recording of an Environmental Covenant restricting the Site use to non-residential uses and restricting groundwater withdrawal; compliance with the Long-Term Stewardship Plan to monitor groundwater contaminants; and submittal of a Remedial Action Completion Report.
