Notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control that Sun Shore Recycling (SSR) has applied for Solid Waste Permit #SW-24/01 (Permit), issued to SSR to operate a resource recovery facility located at 33422 Stiener Road in Georgetown DE.

The request and associated documents are available online at de.gov/dnrecnotices.

A public hearing on the above permit modification will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a meritorious request for such a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, ending May 6, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the permit application and include a reasoned statement explaining the probable impact of the new permit.
