The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Water, hereby gives notice that a permit application has been received from:

Shingle Point Properties, LLC of Ocean City, Maryland, to install approximately two thousand, seven hundred and eighty five linear feet of six inch (2,785 LF of 6.0”) force main to serve the Azalea Woods -Phase 2 residential development, located on the West side of Gravel Hill Road, approximately ¾ of a mile north of Route 9, East of Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. The force main is a continuation of the phase -1 force main and will be located within the residential development.

A public hearing concerning the above application will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious request for a hearing is received on or before April 13, 2022. A request for a public hearing shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
