Notice is hereby given by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control that R&M Recycling, LLC has applied for a renewal of Recycling Permit #SW-18/01 for a recycling facility located at 924 Heald Street in Wilmington. The applicant seeks to continue accepting, storing, and processing pre- and post-consumer asphalt shingle waste for use in hot/cold mix asphalt plants or as road subbase material.

A public hearing on the above permit renewal will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a meritorious request for such a hearing within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, ending November 22, 2021. A request for a hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing. It must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the activity’s probable impact.
