The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances will conduct a hybrid in-person and virtual public workshop on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 beginning at 4:00 p.m. to consider comments from the public on the proposed revisions to 7 DE Admin. Code 1301, Delaware’s Regulations Governing Solid Waste.

The objectives of revising 7 DE Admin. Code 1301 are to increase the protection to human health and the environment by modifying outdated and/or obsolete regulatory language, clarifying existing regulatory language, adding clarifying language, and correcting typographical and grammatical errors.

The proposed amendments may be inspected online starting March 12, 2023 at de.gov/dnrecnotices or in-person, by appointment only, by contacting Alison Kiliszek, by phone at 302-739-9403 or by email at Alison.Kiliszek@delaware.gov.

DNREC requests that all persons who plan to attend the public workshop in-person notify Alison Kiliszek, by phone at 302-739-9403 or by email at Alison.Kiliszek@delaware.gov no later than April 11, 2023.
