Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit: Sussex County Council

Sussex County Council has applied to the Commercial and Government Services Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE WH-298 which allows for the transport of septage, biosolids and sludge, to be disposed of at county-owned wastewater treatment facilities and in accordance with the Agricultural Utilization Permit AGU 2005-S-03; and DE Solid Waste Authority Special Permits: SSW22.044; SSW23.009; SSW23.022.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
