Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit

Commonwealth Disposal, Inc. has applied to the Commercial & Government Services Section for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-674 which allows for the transport of other non-hazardous liquid waste (water residuals) to be disposed of at out of state permitted facilities.

On-Site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System

Wayne Cropper has submitted a renewal application for an Operation Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Gulls Way Campground. The system has been designed to accommodate 30,150 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at 31684 Jimmy Lane, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-33-11.00-98.00.

Warwick Cove Condominium Association has submitted a renewal application for an Operation Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Warwick Cove Condominiums. The system has been designed to accommodate 3,840 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at Warwick Cove Way, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-34.09-09.00.

Temporary Holding Tank

Blue Beach Bungalows DE, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to service the Pine Haven Campground. The system has been designed to accommodate 480 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at 22506 Corey Drive, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-30-07.00-46.00.

Wastewater Facilities Construction Permit Application

Captains Way, LLC proposes to install a duplex submersible sanitary sewer pump station, approximately eight hundred and fifty-five linear feet (855 LF) of four (4) inch diameter sanitary sewer force main and related appurtenances to serve eighty-five (85) proposed single family homes in phases 5-7 of the Captains Way subdivision located approximately 0.4 miles southeast from the intersection of SR 16 and Holly Tree Road in Sussex County, Delaware. The proposed pump station will be located within phase six of Captains Way and discharge to an existing four (4) inch diameter force main on the north side of Clipper Run just south of the Portside Drive intersection.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
