Artesian Wastewater Management, Inc. has applied to the Commercial & Government Services Section (C&GSS) for a renewal of Non-Hazardous Liquid Waste Transporters Permit DE OH-300 which allows for the transport of holding tank waste and sludge and biosolids, generated in the collection or treatment of domestic wastewater, to be disposed of at the Beaver Creek and Heron Bay Wastewater Treatment Plants, Sussex County Wastewater Treatment System, and Kent County Wastewater Treatment System.
K. Hovnanian’s Delaware Operations, LLC has submitted an application for a Temporary Holding Tank Permit to service the Liberty West Subdivision. The system has been designed to accommodate 9,822 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at the SW intersection of West Old Gate Drive and Hollyview Road, Sussex County, tax parcel #2-34-15.00-40.03.
Morningside Village HOA has submitted a renewal application for an Operation Permit for an On-site Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System for the Morningside Village development. The system has been designed to accommodate 14,757 gallons per day of wastewater. The site is located at the intersection of Rifle Range Road and Wheatley Drive, Sussex County, tax parcel #4-30-19.00-203.00.

A public hearing on the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC determines that a public hearing is in the public interest or if a written meritorious objection to the application is received within 15 days from this notice. A public hearing request shall be deemed meritorious if it exhibits a familiarity with the application and provides a reasoned statement of the action’s probable impact.
