The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Fish and Wildlife (Division) will conduct a public hearing to consider comments from the public on proposed revisions to 7 DE Admin. Code 3900: Wildlife.
The Division proposes to make changes to 8 subsections of the regulation that pertain to the management and conservation of wildlife including activities involving youth hunting, updating text related to hunting gamebirds on Sundays, eliminating outdated text related to harvest reporting, permitting motorized carts on lands administered by the Division, fixing typos related to method of take and issuance of permits for releasing gamebirds, and extending the hunting season for coyotes to better manage the species and provide increased opportunities for hunters.
