A Federal Consistency Certification has been submitted to the Delaware Coastal Management Program for the following: Pennfield Pond Improvements (2023.0002)

The McKee Group proposes to make improvements to an existing farm pond associated with the proposed Pennfield residential community in the St. Georges area of New Castle County, Delaware. Actions include replacing a failing outfall and installing scour protection. Approximately 6,273 square feet of temporary palustrine forested wetland impacts, 52 square feet of permanent palustrine forested wetland impacts, 12,626 square feet of temporary pond impacts, 37 linear feet of temporary intermittent stream impacts, and 38 linear feet of permanent intermittent stream impacts are anticipated.
