The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, March 13, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. to consider comments from the public on the annual Weatherization Assistance Program federal funding application (Docket # 2025-WAP-CCE-0002).
The purpose of the annual federal funding application is to invest federal funds towards weatherizing the homes of low-income households in Delaware. Funded services will include air sealing, insulation, ventilation repairs, and health & safety measures such as air quality and moisture control.
