Notice has been given that:

Air Liquide USA, LLC, requests a permit to construct a thermal oxidizer to replace an existing thermal oxidizer at their 305 Water Street, Newport, DE 19804 facility. The thermal oxidizer will be permitted to emit 0.44 TPY NO_X, 0.36 TPY CO, 0.004 TPY SO_X, 0.035 tons per year (TPY) PM₁₀/PM_2.5, 2.53 TPY Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and 2.28 TPY Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) by Permit# APC-2026/0193-CONSTRUCTION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 17, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
