Notice has been given that:
JPMorgan Chase – 1 Christina Center requests permission for the operation of one (1) emergency generator, rated 2500 kW (3634 HP) at 301 North Walnut Street, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of Tier 2 standards for non-road engines(Title 40 CFR Part 1039, Appendix I(b), dated June 29, 2004) emissions limits. The emergency generator will be limited to 234 hours of operation per year and permitted to emit 4.99 TPY of NOX, 0.39 TPY of CO, 0.01 TPY of SOX, 0.04 TPY of PM10, 0.04 TPY of PM2.5 and 0.09 TPY of VOC by Permit #APC-2026/0120-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 20, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
