Notice has been given that:

The New Castle County Vocational Technical School District requests permission for the operation of one (1) natural gas-fired emergency generator, rated 750 kW (1,118 HP) at 2575 Glasgow Avenue, Newark in New Castle County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set is certified to meet the relevant emission standards of Subpart JJJJ to 40 CFR Part 60. It will be regulated under the terms of Permit: APC-2026/0174-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (NSPS).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at: de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information, or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Mia White at (302) 739 9402 or mia.white@delaware.gov.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 13, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
