Notice has been given that:

Mountaire Farms Inc., requests a permit to construct and operate a portable loadout auger at their 615 Fairground Road, Harrington, Kent County facility. The portable loadout auger will be permitted to emit 0.95 TPY total particulate, 0.23 TPY PM₁₀, and 0.23 TPY PM_2.5 by Permit# APC-2026/0181-CONSTRUCTION.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Mia White at (302) 739‑9402 or mia.white@delaware.gov.

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending August 13, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
