Notice has been given that:
Air Liquide USA, LLC requests a natural minor permit to construct a 300 HP natural gas boiler at their 305 Water Street, Newport, DE 19804 facility. The 300 HP natural gas boiler will be permitted to emit 0.40 tons per year (TPY) PM10/PM2.5, 1.9 TPY NOX, 2.0 TPY CO, 0.03 TPY SOX, 0.32 TPY VOCs, and 0.1 TPY HAPs by Permit# APC-2026/0083-CONSTRUCTION.
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. To submit comments, for additional information or for information regarding how you can inspect the application, please contact Jennifer Childears at (302) 739‑9402 or jennifer.childears@delaware.gov.
A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 9, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
