Notice has been given that:

Waste Recycling, Inc. requests permission for the operation of one (1) generator used for Limited Term distributive power for a crushing plant, rated 725 kW (1,105 HP) at 22288 Coverdale Road, Seaford, Sussex County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR Part 1049 Appendix I Table 2, 88FR4660, January 24, 2023, Tier 2 emissions limits. To comply with Minor New Source Review, the Company agreed to an operating limit of 900 hours. Permitted emissions are 4.93 TPY NOx, 0.31 TPY CO, 0.033 TPY THC, 0.006 TPY SOx, 0.022 TPY PM10, and 0.022 TPY PM2.5. Permit # APC-2026/0130-CONSTRUCTION (Limited Term)(MNSR)

A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending March 12, 2026. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
