Notice has been given that:

The State of Delaware requests permission for the installation of one (1) 600 kW (900 HP) diesel-fired emergency generator at 5408 South DuPont Parkway, Smyrna in New Castle County Delaware. The engine used in this generator set is certified to meet the relevant Tier 2 emission standards of Subpart IIII to 40 CFR Part 60. It will be regulated under the terms of Permit: APC-2026/0040-CONSTRUCTION (NSPS).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at: de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending December 11, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
