Notice has been given that:

The State of Delaware requests permission for the operation of one (1) 1,000 kW (1,467 HP) natural gas-fired emergency generator at 60 Sunnyside Road, Smyrna in Kent County Delaware. The engine used in this generator set is certified to meet the relevant emission standards of Subpart JJJJ to 40 CFR Part 60. It will be regulated under the terms of Permit: APC-2026/0041-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION (NSPS).

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at: de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending November 27, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
