Notice has been given that:

The Town of Millsboro requests permission for the operation of one (1) emergency generator, rated 600kW (1220HP) at the Plantation Lakes Water Treatment Plant, located at 31094 Olney Way, Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The engine used in this generator set complies with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of Title 40 CFR Part 1039, Appendix I(b), dated June 29, 2004) Tier 2 emissions limits. Permit # APC-2025/0101-CONSTRUCTION/OPERATION.

The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at: de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending September 15, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
