Notice has been given that:

Delmarva Power and Light, requests temporary permits to construct and operate six (6) CAT model XQ2280 2,000kW diesel-fired portable generators at their facility located at 800 Delmarva Lane, Wilmington, New Castle County. The engines used in these generator sets comply with U. S. EPA regulations under the provisions of 40 CFR 1039, Non-Road Tier 4 emissions limits. The portable generators will be permitted to emit a combined 2.95 tons per year of NO_X, 0.21 tons per year of CO, 0.15 tons per year of PM_Total, 0.15 tons per year of PM₁₀, 0.15 tons per year of PM_2.5, 0.13 tons per year of total hydrocarbon, and 0.06 tons per year of SO_X by Permit: APC-2025/0076-OPERATION (Temporary), Permit: APC-2025/0077-OPERATION (Temporary), Permit: APC-2025/0078-OPERATION (Temporary), Permit: APC-2025/0079-OPERATION (Temporary), Permit: APC-2025/0080-OPERATION (Temporary)_, and Permit: APC-2025/0081-OPERATION (Temporary).

The applications for these permits may be reviewed upon request. The applications are posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending April 7, 2025. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
