Notice has been given that:
Ellie Autowork DBA Maaco, requests an Auto Body Permit to construct or operate an Auto Body Shop that conducts any or all of the following: collision repair, vehicle painting, paint stripping or sanding, body work, antique restoration, and student training in any of these areas at their 729 Dawson Drive, Newark, New Castle facility. The Auto Body Shop will be permitted to emit less than a combined total of 25 tons per year of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and less than a combined total of 25 tons per year of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) by Permit# APC-2024/0092-C/O.
The application for this permit may be reviewed upon request. The application is posted at de.gov/dnrecnotices. A public hearing on any of the above applications will NOT be held unless the Secretary of DNREC receives a request for a hearing regarding that application within 15 days from the date of this notice, ending June 10, 2024. A request for a hearing shall be in writing. The request must also show a familiarity with the application and a reasoned statement of the permit’s probable impact.
